What was your vision the fall collection?
Escape, finding ones-self, and having the confidence to recognize who we are is the vision path that we’ve explored with Ace Rivington for Fall 2025. This holds true to the places this collection takes us, including the hills of Tuscany and Casteflalfi, This theme also holds true through the style, versatility, and comfort our products offer in every escape, from a trip to the local Farmer’s Market, or a date night at your favorite cafe. Fall 2025 tells the story of the essentials that make us who we want to be.
How did you choose your color palette?
As denim is the foundation of our collection, all of our jean washes are built around real vintage looks, colors and inspiration. Our fall flannels, sweatshirts, and tees are all inspired by the colors of nature that signify change. Seasonal greens, reds, browns in shades and hues drive our Fall 2025 color palette and these colors all work back to the vintage inspired looks of our denim.
Since Ace Rivington is mainly a denim brand, can you tell us about the quality of your denim?
Having now made jeans for about 25 years, when I started Ace Rivington, I had a very specific attitude and quality in mind that I wanted to follow for our denim. Italy happens to make some of the best denim in the world, so I decided that for Ace Rivington, Italian denim would define the brand. Milled by a 4th generation family-owned mill, Candiani is one of the most respected and also most sustainable denim mills on the planet. We have a global exclusive on the fabric that we use for Ace Rivington, and our quality is so stable and consistent that we actually offer a LIFETIME WARRANTY and FULL TAILORING on the jeans we produce and sell.
Can you tell us the connection to Italy and the brand?
Italy was my home away from home for the years I spent working in Florence when I was the head designer of Men’s Jeanswear for Guess Jeans. There is really no substitute for the perspective and level of detail, quality and craftmanship that goes into Italian design, and I’ve been fortunate over the years to watch and learn this from the best. My life has always been very simple; I’ve held a clear and constant understanding that I don’t need to over complicate my vision…and Italy is the best, so it was always going to be an important foundation for the brand.
Why did you choose Castel Falfi for the backdrop of your new campaign?
Tuscany has always held a magical place in my heart. The vision of our character finding himself in one of the oldest medieval villages in Italy, founded in 700AD, offered exactly the level of adventure, history and once in a lifetime escape that I wanted to tell our story for Fall 2025. Castelfalfi is a once is a lifetime experience and an incredible place to share our campaign.
How do you see the brand evolving in future?
Founded and first established in Santa Barbara, our next step for the Ace Rivington brand is expansion into new markets. Through evolution of our denim fits, product assortment and even our branding (no longer including Santa Barbara in our brand name), we are positioning for growth with the goal of becoming the name synonymous with the best Men’s Premium Denim experience available.
